![]() ![]() If the fans love it, there’s a good chance Netflix will give them more. They’ve renewed plenty of shows that probably weren’t intended to be, like 13 Reasons Why, because they were so successful, so it’s definitely a possibility that they’ll do the same with TOTC. Butttttt, Netflix is all about those (heavily guarded) numbers. Netflix is calling it a “limited series,” which signals that it won’t be a show that runs for a bunch of seasons. While Anna Madrigal imprisons an anchorwoman in her basement, Michael Tolliver looks for love at the National Gay Rodeo, DeDe Halcyon Day and Mary Ann Singleton track a charismatic psychopath across Alaska, and society columnist Prue Giroux loses her heart to a derelict living in San Francisco park. Just like the first TV adaption of Tales of the City, the Netflix version is also a mini series. The question is.will there be another season? Here’s what we know so far. Present-day San Fran is a little different now than it was in the ’70s, but there’s still that celebration of queerness that fans loved in the original series. Netflix revived the series for 2019, with a bunch of OG cast members (like Laura, Olympia, and Paul Gross) returning to the show. ![]() Although season 3 of the show, Further Tales of the City, ended in 2001, the story was far from over. ![]()
